The
Electric Eyes POS application allows retailers to integrate
their Point Of Sales system with their security system.
The systems works as follows:
Registers
are connected to the Electric Eyes either by tapping the
printer line or through an external port from the register
to the Electric Eyes unit.
Cameras are
assigned to registers within the software. These cameras
now act as POS cameras.
When receipt
data is received from the register, it can be overlaid
on top of the current video recording.
A copy of
the receipts is stored along with it's associated video
file.
The Electric
Eyes POS also supports a Virtual Port interface which
allows registers to be connected over a network instead
of being directly connected to the Electric Eyes unit.
An advanced POS
Playback is also included in the application allowing users
to playback video from anywhere through date, time or receipt
keyword search.
